The DFW Curling Club kicked off its Capital Campaign #LetsCurlDFW to bring a Dedicated Curling Center to the DFW Metroplex.
In partnership with USA Curling and the Dallas Sports Commision to bring a dedicated curling center to the Dallas-Ft. Worth Area which would include USA Curling National Events & Olympic Trials!

Dedicated Curling Committee Update - 06/01/2024
Hi all! Here is your next installment of “What in the world has the Dedicated Curling Center Committee been up to?”
As a reminder, the DCCC is committed to achieving 3 things by December 2024:
- Raising $2,000,000 in donations, grants, and loans to have the funding to secure and build out our own Dedicated Curling Center in the DFW Metroplex.
- Securing a location that fits our membership needs of today and gives us the opportunity to grow curling in DFW.
- Turning that location into a Dedicated Curling Center.

We are currently in negotiations on a building that Nick Myer says is “the best one he’s seen in the 100s of properties we have looked at.” This property has plenty of warm room space to host spiels and broomstack. It also has a great open space for our ice, with room to have end on viewing!

Call to Action: Promissory Notes
The board is looking into raising $500,000 in promissory notes to assure the building owner that we will be able to cover rent while we grow our club.
For those club members and supporters who are in a financial position to help out. We are soliciting interest in promissory notes of $50,000 or more at 7% interest, with the first 3 years of no payouts, and 7 years of monthly payouts thereafter.
